I made Mother’s Day cards for both my mother and my mother-in-law. Here are the front of them. The coffee one is for my mother and the watercolor is for my mother-in-law. My mother loves coffee and my mother-in-law loves orange and yellow flowers. I was quite happy with how the heart turned out in the cup. I may redo this painting again so that I can sell it. I also liked the bold colors I was able to get in the flowers. I had a nice reference photo for that. So thank you to Sammy from paintmyphoto.com!
Here’s the inside of the cards. Yes I wrote special messages inside of them, but those are private. 🙂 I wrote out the letters with watercolor pencils and smoothed my mother’s out with coffee and my mother-in-law’s out with water.
These aren’t for sale since they were special cards for special people, but I thought I’d share them with you anyway. I couldn’t post this until they’d actually received them, but now that they have, you can enjoy the artwork!
